The AN3485 is an industrial serial-communication module for FPGA and SoC development boards. It provides 1 RS232 channel, 2 RS485 channels, and 2 RS422 channels, with 3.3 V TTL signals at the board interface. The module includes a standard DB9 connector for RS232 and screw terminals for RS485 and RS422. Its RS485 and RS422 lines include ±15 kV ESD protection, and jumper-enabled 120 Ω termination resistors support bus termination.
